Originally from Stamford, Connecticut, I started playing competitive tennis and soccer at age 9 but quickly turned all my attention towards Tennis full time because I loved it so much!!  In High School I was a member of 4 State Championship teams as well as competing in the U.S.T.A. as a nationally ranked junior.

I went on to attend The University of Hartford on a tennis scholarship.   After 4 years of collegiate tennis and a major in History, I began my tennis teaching career in 1999.   As a member of the U.S.P.T.A. I worked at the Westport Tennis Club and Burning Tree Country Club before moving to the West Coast.

In 2012 I moved to Southern California to pursue my tennis career in a more weather friendly environment.  Most recently I was the Head Tennis Professional at the Racket Club of Irvine from 2014-2017 running 6 Pac-Sun Ladies teams and presiding over the junior program with over 100 kids.   I'm very happy to be a part of the WRTENNIS team and look forward to growing the programs at our facilities as well as giving our clients the best tennis experience possible.  I look forward to getting to know you.

My name is Wyatt and I am the founder of WRTENNIS. I Started WRTENNIS in 2016 with the mission of bringing more people into the sport while teaching the best fundamentals around. Since then WRTENNIS has become one of the fastest growing tennis programs in Orange County with two great locations.

I started playing tennis around age 6 and haven't stopped since.  That's what growing up in a tennis family will do to you.  My coaching career began shortly after high school when a former coach of mine asked me to step in and help for a couple hours a week in some of his busier junior classes.

While I was finishing my work toward a bachelors degree in business management I began coaching tennis.  I immediately enjoyed teaching and wanted to learn more.  It was very rewarding.  Many people resonated with my coaching style so I knew I was on to something.  I got certified by the USPTA and quickly worked my way up to Junior Development Coordinator before becoming the Head Professional.
