Future Stars | Ages 4-5
It all starts here! Hand-eye coordination, balance, footwork, ready position, and basic ground stroke production is our focus!
Open to all skill levels
Times: Tuesday 3:15 - 4:00pm, Saturday 8:15 - 9:00am

Rising Stars | Ages 6-7
Also heavily focused on hand eye coordination, balance, footwork, ready position, holding racket correctly and beginning to master proper stroke production. Introduction to serve.

Tennis Stars | Ages 8-10
For kids who have moved up from Rising Stars or who are newer to tennis. This class works on ensuring kids are ready for match play by reinforcing proper stroke production, footwork and basic strategy concepts.

Times: Wednesday 4:30 - 5:30pm | Friday 4:30 - 5:30pm | Saturday 10:00 - 11:00am | Sunday (LIVE) 10:30 - 11:30am

All Stars | Ages 8-11
For kids with more than 1 year of experience. This class reinforces what was built up in previous classes. Players will use green balls on a full court to help them prepare for play with a full compression ball.

Junior High and High School Program
Challengers | Ages 11+
No experience necessary! This class is aimed towards kids just picking up the racket for the first time or anyone 11 and up with less that 2 years of experience.
Open to all skill levels
Times: Wednesday 5:30 - 7:00pm, Saturday (match play) 11:00am - 12:30pm
Monthly Pricing: $157.50 | match play $110 | drop in $50
Elites | Ages 10+
For kids with at least 2 years of regular lessons multiple times per week. This class reinforces the skills learned in All Stars and in previous classes. Players will use regular compression balls and continue to develop skills needed for tournament and top level high school play.

Champs | Ages 12+
An ideal class for kids around the Varsity Junior High level or High School JV level. At least 2 years of regular lessons multiple times per week is required. This class continues stroke, footwork, and strategy development in order to prepare kids for tournament and Varsity High School play.

Super Champs | Ages 14+
An ideal class for the Varsity High School and tournament player with fundamentally sound footwork and stroke technique. Focusing on advanced mental and strategic areas of the game, we’ll help your kids reach their peak performance.

Book a Drop In Class
No account needed - Book up to 10 days in advance
Perfect if your schedule doesn’t allow you to commit to a whole month.
Availability is limited. Drop ins can be rescheduled (outside of 24 hours), but not cancelled or refunded.
Rescheduling is done via the link in your appointment confirmation email.
If a class isn’t showing up it is full. Must book at least 1 hour before class.
Costa Mesa Program FAQs

When you enroll your spot is immediately booked and you can start class. You’re enrolled every week and your card is billed monthly until you cancel. Cancellation is easily done in your online account.

A guaranteed spot every week in your class until you cancel. Monthly report card (11 and Under and JH/HS program only).

You just need to log into your account cancel the class you are in and re-enroll in the new class. If there’s any difference in price it will be charged or credited on the next billing cycle.

Months with Holidays are automatically prorated based on the number of cancelled classes.

Sometimes rain happens. If we have to cancel a class you will be notified with a text message and/or email. A credit will be issued to your account which can be applied toward future classes. If you signed up for a drop in you’ll be rescheduled to the next available day.

Very rarely. In the summer we do offer slightly less weekly classes. If your class is affected you will be notified at least a month in advance to give you ample opportunity to switch to a different day.

Yes of course. However we recommend you demo and buy a racquet quickly so you become accustomed to it’s feel.

Unfortunately Halecrest is a private club and is only open to members and enrolled participants during their scheduled times. All features of other than the tennis courts are off limits to non-members.

Cancellation is easy and is done in your account. Just click on any of the enroll now buttons on the Costa Mesa page and click sign in.
Keep in mind that cancelling immediately removes you from the roster so it’s best to cancel after your last class of the month.
